A nice Ooty Trip
Supritha and I went to Ooty on 13th of this month and stayed there for 3 days. It was a nice tour and we went to places like Pykara and Botanical garden. We stayed on a good resort (sagar resort - http://www.sagar-resorts.com/welcome.htm) which is located at valley view. This is a monsoon season so it was raining for some time. Totally its an unforgettable trip. :)

Bharathiar University Distance Education - A lot of confusion
Bharathiar university conducts lots of distance courses to all over India, This helps many rural students to get the degrees. For this academic year (2007-2008) they haven't provide many books (only one book received out of 5 for BSc Computer science). And today is the last day for direct class(16th March 2008) for students.
Yesterday they publish a notification at Dinamalr saying that students can download the courses from their website- http://www.b-u.ac.in/sde/sde_syllabus.html and semester exams starts from june 7th 2008.
There are many complaints received by the university on this delay. Why they act like this? They don't have money to print the books? How the students prepare the exams without the hard copy books? How rural students get the internet access and download the books? so there are many confusions are happening this year.

Tare Zameen Par - Good Film
In our life we have been watching more movies. But only some of the movies are repeated in our minds, this Hindi movie is one among them. Though I don't know hindi language I can understand the story line and some of the conversation...
In this movie, Ishaan a 3rd standard boy is the hero. He has not studying well since his mind is somewhere else on the classroom. On all of the papers he scored low marks - the school management asked their parents to shift to some other school. So his parents admitted him in a boarding school. There also he has the same problems on the class room and he got punishments. After some days Ram shankar Nikumb (Aamir Khan) joined as Drawing master on that school ... (Interval)
Aamir's method of teaching liked by all of the students but Ishaan doesn't do anything Aamir found why he has not keen on teaching and he met with Ishaan's parents..at that time he said Ishaan is troubled with dyslexia (Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that manifests primarily as a difficulty with written language, particularly with reading and spelling)..Aamir saw Ishaans drawing books and he come to know he is a brilliant boy in Drawing. Ishaan's father doesn't accept Aamir's wordings. Aamir gave a special attention to Ishaan's study and encouraged his drawing and scientific thoughts. At last Ishaan got first prize on a drawing competition on defeating all of his schoolmates even Aamir. Finally parents thanked Aamir.....
Nice storyline, Some of the key points in this story:
* Many giants including Einstein, Edison are having the same problem. Please add Abishek bachan on this list(He may not be a genius but a leading actor) This message given by Aamir khan in this picture itself.
* How Aamir chosen this story.? - In an interview he said his own brother had this problem. So he acted naturally.
* Aamir is the director on this movie, he directed well.
* Ishaan (Real name : Dharsheel Safary) acted very well, Because of his perfect act he has nominated in Filmfare best actor award category. This is the first time a child artist nominated in this category.
* Will this kind of films come in the tamil film industry?
